Firmware 22.0.110 per Nokia N97 e 12.0.110 per Nokia N97 Mini

Oggi in casa Nokia è giorno di rilasci, sono arrivati finalmente i firmware per nokia N97 e per quello Mini, rispettivamente il 22.0.110 ed il 12.0.110.

Al Momento il changelog non è ufficiale, qundi non sappiamo ancora quali soo le migliorie.

Quindi appena aggiornate lasciate le vostre opinioni, io farò lo stesso

Nokia N97:disponibile nuovo firmware V21.0.102

Qualche giorno fa è stato reso disponibile il nuovo firmware per il nostro amato N97

Ecco le novità:

Rotazione automatica del display impostata su ON di default.

Aggiornamento ai contenuti della memoria interna (solo per i nuovi modelli).

Files di installazione di Ovi Suite 2.0 e Ovi Player precaricati.

Nokia Ovi Maps 3.03 integrato.

Risoluzione di alcuni bug presenti sul vecchio firmware.

E finalmente grazie all’integrazione di OVI Maps nel firmware ci troviamo adesso con 60 MB nella memoria del telefono.

Grazie alla conservazione dei dati non è necessario eseguire un backup dei dati.

Si specifica che questo aggiornamento v21.0.102 è riferito solo per i Nokia N97 NON brandizzati

Nokia N97: firmware 21.0.045 finalmente disponibile

Ecco finalmente dopo tante attese, Nokia ha rilasciato il nuovo firmware per N97 il 21.0.045.

Ecco il changelog di questo nuovo firmware:

Migliorata l’affidabilità di chiamata

Migliorato il touch dello scrolling

Migliorato il browser

Miglioramenti del lettore musicale

Miglioramenti nelle immagini ed i video

Vi ricordo anche le procedure di hard reset e deep reset:

- Procedura HardReset:
A cellulare spento premete contemporaneamente i tasti backspace (la freccia in alto a destra) shift (in basso a sinistra) e space, poi il tasto di accensione e continuate a tenerli premuti tutti e quattro fino a quando non compaiono le due manine di Nokia.

Ci mette un po’, se non compaiono subito non vi preoccupate, ci vuole una quindicina di secondi.

- Procedura deep reset:
*#7370#
seguito dal codice di protezione (di default 12345).

Nokia N97 software update 2.1 via NSU il 1 Febbraio

Con molta amarezza, perchè doveva essere rilasciato ieri, vi annuncio che il nuovo firmware 2.1 dovrebbe essere rilasciato via NSU il 1 Febbraio, l’ha comunicato questa mattina l’utente xbungle sul forum ufficiale della Nokia.

Ecco il comunicato:

Dear updaters

Nokia N97 software update 2.1
The Nokia N97 software update release 2.1 will be available through the Nokia Software Updater on Monday 1 February. The software version number will be 21.0.045 (RM-505) or 21.2.045 (RM-507) depending on your region, and should be available by 08:00 GMT. The release for N97 China 2G (RM-506) will follow shortly. This 2.1 release offers additional improvements to the 2.0 release made last year.

Software availability
As usual, we will published standard non-customised versions of the software, with country (SIM-free) and operator versions following over the next few days and weeks. The Nokia N97 (and several other devices) can check automatically for new software. Go to Menu > Applications > SW Update and enable automatic checking. MyNokia members will also receive an SMS stating "new software is available" as the deployment progresses. To register, go to Menu > Applications > My Nokia > Sign up or visit www.nokia.com/mynokia.

Using your PC to update
Initially, this software update is only available through the Nokia Software Updater. Due to wealth of new content available in this release, the over-the-air "FOTA" packages are larger than normal (around 17MB) and to allow for sufficient testing, delivery will be slightly delayed.

Backups before updating your Nokia N97 are not essential, but to help you get the most from your new software, we recommend that you sync your device or make a backup excluding settings before updating. After the update, reset your device by keying *#7370# and enter your lock code (default = 12345). Then you can resync your device and restore your backup. Finally, visit Ovi Store to download the latest versions of your favourite applications.

What’s new
The software contains many fixes and improvements on the earlier releases including:

Improved call reliability

Smooth touch screen scrolling

Browser improvements

Music player improvements

Improved image and video stability

Firmware N97 v.21: il rilascio previsto per fine Gennaio

Su Twitter un paio di ore fà Nokia_Fan pubblica il seguente messaggio:

"N97 Firmware Update V.21 and release of OVI Maps for N97 are coming on 28th January 2010".

Il firmware 2.1 del Nokia N97 tanto atteso, che dovrebbe risolvere molti bug esistenti sull’N97 anche dopo l’ultimo l’aggiornamento 2.0, sia previsto per il 28 Gennaio 2010.

Speriamo bene, vi aggiorneremo in caso di nuove news.

Nokia N97: firmware 2.1 in arrivo

Come già vi anticipammo un paio di settimane fà, il 24 Dicembre direttamente da Eldar Murtazin ci arriva la notizia riguardante un presunto nuovo firmware 2.1 per N97.

Ecco il messaggio che ci scrive su twitter:

v2.1 for N97 will be available soon, soft was finalized yesterday 9:10 PM Dec 25th from web

A quanto pare, infatti, il nuovo firmware sarebbe già stato programmato. Adesso inizieranno i test finali e presto, molto presto, verrà rilasciato per voi utenti.

Ovviamente vi terremo aggiornati

N97 update firmware: previsto per metà dicembre

Il prossimo aggiornamento del firmware N97 dovrebbe essere rilasciato nella metà di dicembre. Questa informazione è stata ottenuta da un presunto dipendente della Nokia che ha pubblicato questa notizia sul Nokia Support Forum.

We have created new support content to help you have the smoothest update experience, and to help you get the most out of your device. See the Nokia N97 support pages for more details.

Software availability
We published an additional 60 variants this week.

Software roadmap
I can now confirm that the next release for the Nokia N97 is planned for mid-late December 2009. At this stage I cannot tell you exactly when it will be available, what it will contain, or which variants and operators will approve it.

Finalmente il tanto atteso firmware 2.0 per Nokia N97 è stato rilasciato, da oggi è disponibile su NSU.

Da oggi è disponibile su RDA (Remote Device Access) il nuovo ed attessissimo firmware v. 20.0.019 per Nokia N97, al momento la lista di prenotazione è lunghissima, appena riuscirò a provarlo vi rilascerò qualche infomazioni, speriamo di provarlo direttamente sul nostro amato N97

L’aggiornamento è finalmente disponibile, al momento solo via pc.

Questi dovrebbero essere i miglioramenti, almeno riscontrati nello stesso firmware no-brand:
